PARTICIPATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
  • These Participation Terms and Conditions are entered into between you and Capgemini Technology Services India Limited (“Capgemini India”).
  • The Organizer of the event is the Capgemini India Marketing and Communications Team.
  • Upon submitting to register and/or participate in the event, you become a participant and accept to be bound by and comply with these Participation T&Cs and Data Protection Notice.

THE EVENTS:

The “events” refers to the Capgemini Brand Quest to be scheduled during 17.08.2023 to 15.09.2023.


ELIGIBILITY:
  • The event is open to all Capgemini India employees in India, and participation in the Brand Quest is voluntary, provided that they are still working with Capgemini India as on August 31, 2023 and are not serving the notice period as on this date.
  • Members of the India Marketing & Communications and Client Engagement Experience teams lead by BU Head; Sarika Naik, Chief Marketing Officer, Capgemini India cannot participate in this contest.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
  • To participate in the event, employees need to register for the event by selecting the dedicated links which will be shared via internal communications mailers or on the Capgemini India talent page.
  • Participants agree to participate in the event voluntarily, and no payment or compensation will be provided to them for their participation. They will be required to provide certain information and answer necessary questions which will be used solely for the purpose of contest as per data protection policy of Capgemini.

DESCRIPTION OF THE CONTEST:

Capgemini Brand Quest is a quiz contest that aims to engage and challenge our employees and create strong brand awareness and pride internally amongst Capgemini employees in India. The contest will be open to all Capgemini colleagues in India. There will be one winner, 2 runners-up, and 7 other finalists who will win prizes of varying nature depending on their final ranks. The top participants at various level will receive prizes at various rounds. The contest will consist of multiple rounds leading to a Grand Finale.


QUIZ MECHANISM:

The quiz contest will include four rounds:

  • Level 1 - Qualifier Online Quiz Round
  • Level 2 - Semi-final Online Quiz Round
  • Level 3 - Semi-final Personal Interview Round (Online)
  • Level 4 - Grand Finale at Bengaluru (Physical Event)

  • LEVEL 1 - QUALIFIER ONLINE QUIZ ROUND -

The LEVEL 1 is an online quiz round that will take place within a video proctored quiz tool to ensure fair play and prevent any unfair practices. The top 100 participants in the Level 1 will qualify to compete in the Level 2 Semi-final quiz round.

Note - For Level 1 evaluation, scores will be the sole criteria for qualification. In the event of a tie, priority will be given to the participant who completes the quiz with the least amount of time, followed by the total bonus points earned. The quiz window will be open for 5 hours. However, the test must be completed within 60 mins, after which the quiz will get automatically submitted and the quiz window will be closed.


  • LEVEL 2 - SEMI-FINAL ONLINE QUIZ ROUND -

The Level 2 Semi-final quiz round will feature the top 100 participants from the Level 1. The Level 2 will be an online quiz round that will take place within a video proctored quiz tool to ensure fair play and prevent any unfair practices. The top 20 participants in this round will secure their place in the Level 3 Semi-final - Personal Interview round. Another 25 participants who answers all the bonus question rightly will receive brand store voucher worth Rs. 1500.

Note - For Level 2 evaluation, scores will be the sole criteria for qualification. In the event of a tie, priority will be given to the participant who completes the quiz with the least amount of time, followed by the total bonus points earned. The quiz window will be open for 5 hours. However, the test must be completed within 60 mins, after which the quiz will get automatically submitted and the quiz window will be closed.


  • LEVEL 3 - SEMI-FINAL PERSONAL INTERVIEW ROUND (ONLINE) -

The top 20 participants from Level 2 will compete in the Level 3 which will consist of a Personal Interview conducted by a panel to assess participants' brand quotient and overall personality.

The selection of candidates for Level 4 will be determined by evaluating total score of Personal Interview. Other criteria for selection are social media profile screening, and candidates’ availability to appear for Grand Finale event in Bengaluru on 14th and 15th September, 2023. In the event of a candidate's non-availability or failure to attend the Grand Finale in person, the organizer reserves the right to select and invite the next best candidate based on their overall score, proximity to Bangalore, and other relevant parameters.

The top 10 participants will be selected to compete in the Level 4 Grand Finale, which will take place at the EPIP Campus in Bangalore, India.

Note - The Level 3 Semi-final PI will take place in Microsoft teams platform , please ensure that both video and audio are enabled. Failure to enable either one may result in disqualification. One of the selection criteria for candidates qualifying for the Level 3 Semi-final PI is punctuality. Coming on time for the interview is essential for consideration. The panel conducting the evaluation will remain undisclosed and will consist of Capgemini colleagues from various job levels and roles. The participant's personal interview video call will be recorded by the organizers for evaluation and auditing purposes.

The candidates must complete the “Social media code of conduct"training as provided in the Mylearning platform before attending the Level 3 and must show the certificate if asked for. Non-compliance may lead to disqualification. All candidates are advised to bring their Capgemini ID & Government ID proof for self-identification with the panel.


  • LEVEL 4 - GRAND FINALE AT BENGALURU (PHYSICAL EVENT) –

The top 10 participants from the Level 3 will move on to the Level 4 Grand Finale, a live physical event held at the EPIP Campus, Bangalore. This event will also be broadcasted live on Capgemini's official social media platforms and websites. For the level 4 Grand Finale, the top 10 finalists are required to be present at the venue on 14.09.2023. They should be available for stage rehearsals, a demo session, and to receive detailed instructions on the rules and regulations for the finale event.

The Level 4 consists of three sub-rounds:

  • The first round includes questions in text/photo/video format. Participants need to either attempt or pass the question.
  • The second round allows candidates to answer questions on their own or ask the panel for assistance.
  • The third round is a buzzer round. The quickest participant to press the buzzer gets the chance to answer.

Winners will be determined by the highest overall score. There will be 1 winner, 2 runners-up, and 7 other finalists who will win prizes of varying nature depending on their final ranks. Additionally, all 10 finalists will have the opportunity to feature in the Annual Capgemini India Calendar 2024.


TIMELINE:
  • Launch of Capgemini Brand Quest – 24.08.2023
  • Registration for Capgemini Brand Quest– 24.08.2023 to 29.08.2023(Till 3:00 PM)
  • Level 1 – Qualifier Online Quiz Round - 30.08.2023 (Between 12.00 PM to 5.00 PM)
  • Level 2 – Semi-final Online Quiz Round– 01.09.2023 (Between 12.00 PM to 5.00 PM)
  • Level 3 – Semi-final Online Personal Interview Round – 04.09.2023 & 05.09.2023, (Between 10.00 AM to 6.00 PM)
  • Level 4 – Grand Finale (Physical event) – 15.09.2023, (Between 9.30 AM to 2.00 PM)
  • Winners Announcement – 15.09.2023

The defined timelines are subject to change based on circumstances. It is expressly provided that the Organizer reserves the right to change the dates and timelines at its sole discretion.


RULES OF CONDUCT:

Participants agree to observe the following rules of conduct:

  • Each registered participant is allowed to take this quiz only once.
  • Personal information of the participants will be used only for the contest purpose. We will collect the name and email ID of every participant. We will also collect phone numbers of the top 20 participants who qualifies for Level 3 for further communication at later stage.
  • The right to select winners lies with the India Brand Team, and their decision will be final and binding.
  • Candidates are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the test platform by accessing the provided link. This opportunity allows candidates to acquaint themselves with the test interface and functionalities before the actual quiz.
  • If a participant fails to respond to communication attempts from the organizers within the specified time frame regarding important updates or instructions, the organizers reserve the right to disqualify the participant.
  • If a participant wishes to withdraw from the event after their participation has been confirmed, they must notify the Organizers in writing within twenty-four (24) hours of the announcement of the results for specific rounds. Failure to comply with this requirement may have implications on their eligibility for future participation opportunities.
  • Participants are strictly prohibited from posting any content related to the event on social media platforms unless expressly authorized or requested by the Organizers. Participants are not allowed to ask or get it posted by any other person. Unauthorized postings may lead to disqualification or appropriate actions.
  • Participants are strictly prohibited from discussing their scores or engaging in speculation about their performance at any stage of the event or after its conclusion. Breach of this confidentiality clause may lead to consequences, including disqualification.
  • If a candidate chooses to take the test from office, it is advisable to book a meeting room or quiet space to ensure a conducive environment during the Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3. This precaution is essential to avoid any proctoring violations and maintain the integrity of the assessment. It is advised to select a location where there is minimal foot traffic and no possibility of unintentional distractions. Treat the test session as a confidential and closed-door meeting to maintain confidentiality.
  • If a candidate decides to take the test from their home, they must adhere to the same guidelines as mentioned above. They are required to find a quiet and private area to ensure there are no disturbances during the Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3.
  • The quiz Organizers reserve the sole discretionary right to disqualify any participant found to be in violation of the rules, company policies or engaged in any fraudulent activity.
  • Any attempts to tamper with or manipulate the quiz platform or its content will result in immediate disqualification.
  • Sharing quiz login credentials with any unauthorized individuals is strictly prohibited.
  • The quiz will be video proctored, and any form of movement or opening of multiple tabs/windows may result in a warning. Repeated violations may lead to termination of the test. And the candidate stands to be disqualified and cannot undergo re-test or resume the terminated test. Participants agree to be video recorded during the contest at various level.
  • The quiz will be time bound, and participants must complete the quiz within the specified duration.
  • Participants must always have a reliable and continuous internet connection and access to a compatible device (computer or laptop) to participate in the online quiz.
  • In the event of any technical difficulties or disruptions during the quiz, participants must immediately contact the designated technical support team for assistance.

  • Organizer shall not be held liable and responsible for any issues arising out of power failure, technical problems, interruptions, or errors that may occur during the quiz.
  • Any form of solicited or unsolicited cheating, including but not limited to plagiarism, use of unauthorized materials, or seeking assistance from others, is strictly prohibited.
  • Participants are required to complete the quiz independently, without any external assistance. Any attempt to seek external help, solicited or unsolicited, including giving help, clues, or guidance to participants, will result in the disqualification of the participant if found in the video record during proctoring.
  • The quiz form submitted by the participants will be the final document used for evaluation.
  • Result of Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 will be communicated directly to the candidates only through their official mail ID. If any candidates require access to their individual scores, they should reach out to [email protected], indicating the reason for their request. The decision to disclose these scores rests with the organizers, and it's important to note that the organizers will not disclose scores of other candidates.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR LEVEL 4 ROUND CANDIDATES:
  • The top 10 finalists must arrive at the venue on 14.09.2023 by 02:00 PM and be available for stage rehearsals/demo Session. Failure to do so may result in disqualification. The event schedule is provided as follows: Event Schedule:
  • Rehearsals/Demo Session - 3:00 PM-5:00 PM Onboarding Hall, Serengeti, EPIP Campus, Bengaluru on 14.09.2023
  • On 15.09.2023, you must report at 9:00 AM at Onboarding Hall, Serengeti, EPIP Campus, Bengaluru
  • Event : 9:30 AM to 12.30 PM
  • Lunch Session: 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM
  • Photo and video Session: 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM
  • Please adhere to the provided schedule to ensure a smooth and successful event.
  • The top 10 finalists are required to book their travel and accommodation in accordance with the company's travel policy, Expenses should be claimed on the company portal; My Expense using the designated project code, which will be provided by the organizer at a later stage.The cost will only be reimbursed for transportation from their respective official base locations to Bangalore Grand Finale venue. The base locations of the participants will be considered as per HR record of Capgemini. Incase of any exception, organizer has the right to consider or reject the claim of participants.
  • In the event of a flight being missed, that results in the participant's inability to attend the scheduled event, the Organizers shall not be held responsible, and no reimbursement or compensations will be provided.
  • All finalist are advised to bring their Capgemini ID for self-identification and entry into the campus.
  • Finalists must adhere to the dress code provided by the organizer for the event. The dress code for the event will be blue jeans , T- shirt, and shoes according to the Capgemini dress code policy. . The organizer will provide t-shirt to be worn by the finalist during the final round. Failure to comply with the specified dress code may result in disqualification or restriction from participation.
  • For the Level 4, the ten finalists may bring one guest from friends and family outside Capgemini at their own expense, subject to security clearance as per company policy. Additionally, finalists can nominate up to five supporting colleagues to attend the Grand Finale in person, provided they are not on notice period. The names of supporting colleagues must be submitted to the organizers at least a week before the final event for validation and approval. Please note that virtual attendance for supporting colleagues is not permitted, and they must be a Capgemini India employee.
  • Upon being selected for various rounds, participants must promptly inform both their respective team and managers if they anticipate taking work off from their regular work due to their involvement in the event. Your decision to take work off should be communicated within three working days from the date of results' announcement for the respective rounds, or prior to the event (whichever comes first), to your team and managers. The participants will bear full liability and responsibility for any implications or consequences arising from such a decision to take part in the Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4 round.
  • The handling of participants' personal data will be in compliance with Data Protection Notice.
  • Organizer reserves the right to modify, alter, or cancel any aspect of the quiz, including the evaluation process, dates, venue, quiz platform, rules, rounds, and awards at its discretion.
  • Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant found engaging in unfair practices, violating the quiz rules, company policies or any professional misconduct.

  • The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify the participant at any time and at any stage of the contest whose application is not as per the terms and conditions laid down by the organizer or / and participants has provided any incorrect data about them.
  • The prizes offered in the quiz are subject to change without prior notice. The organizer reserves the right to modify or replace any prize with an alternative of equivalent value at their sole discretion.
  • All prizes are subject to applicable taxes as per the laws and regulations of India. Winners will be subjected to taxation in accordance with the provision of the Income-Tax Act. The TDS is applicable on payment of prize money in excess of Rs. 10,000 to every winner at 31.2% (i.e., TDS of 30% plus education cess of 4%). Winners will receive the net prize amount after the deduction of applicable taxes. The tax deduction process will be carried out by the company.
  • Any conflict within the various provisions of these Participation T&Cs and interpretation will be resolved by the Organizer. The decision of the Organizer shall be final and binding. All participants are required to direct any queries, suggestions, or complaints related to the event to the designated email address at [email protected]. It is essential to refrain from sending such communications to individual email addresses.

WINNER SELECTION :
  • Capgemini Brand Quest is a multi-quiz round with successive eliminations, where only shortlisted candidates will progress to further rounds basis evaluation parameter set by the organizers. Winners will be selected based on their completion of each quiz round with the scores be the sole criteria for qualification. In the event of a tie, priority will be given to the participant who completes the quiz with the least amount of time, followed by the total bonus points earned.
  • The competition aims to identify one winner and two runners-up, along with seven other finalists, through a series of engaging quiz contests. Participants who excel in each round will also receive vouchers as additional rewards. For details, refer to quiz mechanism above.

** Winners of Level 2 & Level 3 & Audience award will be decided basis right answer to bonus questions and various other criteria that may change. However, prize amount and number of winners will remain as shown. For Winners of Level 2 & Level 3 & Audience award, one person can win only one voucher.

DISCLAIMER AND LIABILITY:

All materials and information provided in connection with the event are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. The Organizer makes no representations and disclaims all express, implied, and statutory warranties of any kind to the Participant and/or any third party, including, without limitation, warranties as to accuracy, timelines, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose or non-infringement.

The Organizer has no obligation to screen the Participant Content in advance and is not responsible for monitoring applications to prevent the violation of Intellectual Property Rights or violations of any law, rule, or regulation. The Organizer will not be held responsible for matters out of its control, such as viruses, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, and force majeure reasons.

The Organizer and its managing committee will not have any liability for any direct, indirect, consequential, punitive, special, or incidental damages or loss/damage of property or life whether foreseeable or unforeseeable (including, but not limited to, claims for defamation, errors, loss of data, or interruption in the availability of data), arising out of or relating to these Participation T&Cs, whether based in contract, tort, statutory, or otherwise, to the extent permitted by law or arising from the Participant’s participation in the Event, organizing the Event, awarding or the use or misuse of any prize.


MISCELLANEOUS :

The Organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to withdraw, amend, or add to these Participation T&Cs and/or the Terms of Use (such as rules and format of the event), with prospective or retrospective effect, without prior notice. The Organizer does not take responsibility for any loss or damage that any User/Participant may suffer as a result of applying/participating in the event, the event being withdrawn, or the Participation T&Cs being amended.

If any provision of these Participation T&Cs becomes void or unenforceable under applicable laws, it shall be deemed to be deleted, and the remaining provisions shall continue unaffected. Together with the Terms of Use, these Participation T&Cs constitute the entire agreement regarding the subject matter and supersede all other written and oral communications, arrangements, or understandings between You and Capgemini relating to such subject matter.


GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION :

The event and any controversy or claim arising out of or related to the event, or these Participation T&Cs shall be governed by Indian law, without regard to its choice of law principles, and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of India.


DATA PROTECTION NOTICE :

This Data Protection Notice aims to provide all the information regarding the collection and further processing of your Personal Data provided by you in this Registration Form for the purposes of the "Capgemini Brand Quest."

By agreeing to participate in the Capgemini Brand Quest, you hereby consent to sharing the required personal data with Organizer. If you are interested in participating in this contest, please provide your name and official email address for registration and communication. Capgemini will share this data with its empaneled third-party service provider, Tecknack Technologies Private Limited (also known as iMocha), to administer the proctored quiz. iMocha will send the quiz exclusively to your registered Capgemini email address. Video and image proctoring measures are implemented to ensure fair practices during the quiz.

Access to your Personal Data shall be strictly limited only on a need-to-know basis to the relevant stakeholder(s) from specific functions, namely the Capgemini India Brand Team. When relying on third-party service providers, Capgemini ensures confidentiality of the information is maintained by the third party service providers and ensure that Personal Data is processed safely and strictly according to Capgemini's instructions and in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation.

Your Personal Data shall be collected and kept securely with adequate managerial, technical, operational, and physical security measures and standards in accordance with the applicable laws. Your Personal Data will be stored for no longer than necessary for the purposes it was collected and in compliance with legal requirements. iMocha will delete your personal data after the completion of the event.
